Plot Request (100-400 CAPs)

$0.00

Make a request to the plot team with this CAPs redemption item! Use this item to help direct the writing team in a collaborative fashion. In the details of this request please include just enough information for the writers to work with, and any information about which writers or staff you may have already been talking to about the request.

Please note that this redemption is NOT available for Premier Events.

This is item is NOT to be used for being taught skills or professions (separate CAPs Redemption item for that), or for overseeing a procedure (different kind of request).

Important Notes (Please Read):

  • Each player may only have one request in the pipeline at a time.

  • The number of plot requests fulfilled during a particular event is limited to two (2) for now (subject to change based on event attendance and writer staffing levels).

  • Plot requests made well-in-advance of the next event have a higher chance of being implemented than those that are submitted later; some submissions may have to wait for a subsequent event if they are submitted soon before the start of the next event.

  • The pipeline of plot requests will be ordered in a fashion such that someone who has previously redeemed a Plot Request item will be prioritized lower than someone who has not.

  • Due to having to limit the number of requests we can process each month, we will only notify you a) when your plot request is on the schedule for a particular event or b) if your plot request cannot be run at all due to genre or contract violations.

  • Plot requests will be calibrated to the expectations below and, if accepted, will be charged CAPs based on the that expectation.

  • Unreasonable or untenable requests will be declined without charge.

Low Overhead: the request is related to an existing story arc that will be visited at the next available event. Simple NPC-less modules or points of engagement also fall into this category.

Moderate Overhead: the request is a single module, NPC-less module or point of engagement that requires a more involved setup than the Low Overhead, unrelated to an existing story arc.

High Overhead: the request is a big set piece module or series of modules, spanning an entire event or multiple events.
