Method of Murder/Specialty: The Collins Family, made up of operatives skilled in neutralizing Aberrants as well as those who work to guide Aberrants to responsibly use or give up their abilities, is distinguished by who they do not murder, their restraint. Contracted to deal with Psions, Priests, and occasionally Grave threats, they will not take or will back out of a job if it turns out to go against the Collins member’s beliefs. Accordingly, Collins tend to kill in a manner befitting or leave a token of, the personal reasons that drive their work, whether it be faith, their past, or other reasons. The axe is the preferred weapon of the Collins, who will be shockingly intense in their kills to send a message to other potential threats to the Greater Good if they can. It’s a form of harm reduction and prevention, such carnage, and nothing to celebrate for Collins.

Organizational Structure: Collins operatives always have a superior, who is meant to keep them in check and pursuing their personal quests, not to dictate their actions. They work alone but are trained for the occasions where the Collins need to show up in force and act as a thunderclap of murderous violence against high-level Aberrant threats.

Visuals: Collins carry on them tokens of their personal reasons for doing the work they do, reminders to keep them moving forward and to some extent against the tide of a world growing more friendly to Aberrants. They dress down, especially while on jobs, and blend in until they need to make it very, very known what they are capable of. Collins thus favor subtle armor like armored coats, hidden weapons on their person, poisons in hooch bottles, and other trickery until they need to emerge in full warfare gear.

Regional Goals: To combat Aberrant threats, educate and help Aberrants, and foster the personal goals of their members together. The Collins know their members have a story and reason for joining, and some of the rumored Nuclear Family and TV higher-ups among what is often thought to be a Fallow-heavy organization take a paternalistic or ‘directing’ view of Collins who pursue an adjacent agenda of their own to the Family.

Induction Qualifications and Rites: Collins are often stalwart members of their communities and keep a pulse for potential recruits who have been harmed by or learned the dangers of Aberrance. They have many Mind Killers and Assassins among their ranks, as well as some Aberrants who see themselves either as on the “Good Side” or their condition as a curse that they seek to make good with. Induction requires meeting with the higher-ups in disguise and giving the compelling reason why the prospective Collins chose this particular and difficult fight.

CvC or CvE focus: Collins are flagged for CvC due to the heavy anti-Aberrant roleplay involved, but not required to initiate it by any means, the Collins do try to avoid casualties if possible.
