Method of Murder/Specialty: Often known as the Nyx “clan”, and favoring members from the Seasons and Knights, this Family takes a larger view of the Adherents’ role in humbling the powerful, by building up Murder Inc. groups in their settlements to be as powerful weapons as possible, training and waiting for the day when their own particular talents will be needed. Pillars of the community, though not always in savory ways, are true believers in the code of Murder Inc. and seek to hone the Chapel, Knell, and Adherents to work together. It is rare for members to execute solo jobs, but instead, they work with other Families, specializing in utilizing the strengths of all MI members on a job to complete it successfully. When the Nyx take on a job as a clan or a singular member, they tend to be the big jobs, taking down would-be dictators, dangerously powerful cult leaders, wayward heretics, oppressive barons, and worse.

Organizational Structure: The Nyx clan operates as brutally effective and close-knit groups that are few in number but influential through Lorado. Each group has a definitive head, while the Nyx generally operates off clan consensus, the buck stops with the groupl head who has the deciding vote in any critical decisions. Groups are free to organize as they wish within this structure, and the Nyx group heads will meet with equal voices if the region is threatened to decide on a plan of action and rally M.I. to the covert battlefield.

Visuals: Nyx clan tend to be very recognizable as important members of their communities but do not have a unifying visual schema beyond a piece of black ribbon worn discretely on their person with a crescent moon shape decorating it. This ribbon is only shown to identify themselves to other Nyx when they visit the territory of other Nyx, or to command the respect earned by members of the clan among the greater Murder Inc.

Regional Goals: Make Murder Inc. the power it once was, or even greater. Prevent utter destruction of the region. Act as mentors and exemplars to advance all three factions of Murder Inc. and their goals together, becoming the unifying force within the organization.

Induction Qualifications and Rites: Only the best are chosen to be group heads, often “old hands” of M.I., and they are given relative carte blanche as to who and how they recruit. Failure by subordinates is looked down upon severely, failure and success by members of the organization reflects upon the clan and the organization as a whole in the eyes of the Nyx.
